Valley Transporter is a door-to-door service and have two services going to and from Springfield Amtrak, our shared shuttle service that may have other
passengers and additional stops, and our private service that would pick you up at a time of your choosing and transport you directly to Springfield

We operate based on advanced reservations and we schedule our vans and drivers starting a few days before the date of travel.  We recommend making
your reservations as soon as you know your travel needs, as availability is often limited and becomes more limited as the date of travel approaches.

To Springfield Amtrak:

With advance reservations and depending on availability, hours of our shared shuttle service begin with our first arrival at the Springfield AMTRAK at 4:00 AM. Each shared shuttle Van after will arrive quarter before the hour (examples: 5:45,6:45,7:45, etc.). Rates vary depending upon location and number of passengers in your party.

We will provide a 30-minute pick up time at the time of booking and will call the day before with a more exact time of pick up.

* We recommend arriving at Springfield AMTRAK at least 15-30 minutes before your train departs. *

Private Exclusive Service is available if preferred and for times outside of our standard business hours, and is a direct route. Rates vary depending upon location and number of passengers in your party.

From Springfield Amtrak:

With advance reservations and depending on availability, shared shuttle is to depart on the top of the hour (examples 1:00,2:00, etc. Up until the last shared shuttle departure time of 1:00 AM (in the morning) Passenger is to wait in the lower lobby of the station while = watching for the Valley Transporter Van If arriving during business hours Passengers are to call the office at 413-253-1350 option 1 for dispatch once ready after baggage claim if arriving after hours, we will email you your drivers name and phone number the day before please call your driver to check in. The dispatcher or driver will give further instructions on where and how to meet the driver. We will email the day before the arrival with pick up information and a phone number to call to check in.

If During Your Travels, you have changes Other Than the Information We Were Given When the Reservation Was Made, You Must Contact Us At 413-253-1350 Option #1 Or Email Us At Vt@Valleytransporter.Com To Advise Us of The New details. Without This Information We May Not Have a Van at The SPRINGFIELD AMTRAK at Your New Arrival Time. We Will Do Our Best to Accommodate the New Change.

Cancelation Policy:

For Cancellations Made More Than 48 Hours in Advance of The Scheduled Pick-Up Time:

  • Shared Shuttle $15.00 Cancelation Fee, Per Passenger Per Reservation Cancelation
  • All Private $25.00 Per Reservation
  • Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Prior To The Scheduled Pick-Up Time Will Be Charged Full Fare


  • $15 For Each Bag in Excess of Two, Except Carry On
  • $20 Each for Skis, Golf Clubs. Oversized Items


Customers may add an additional stop to an airport transfer or point to point reservation for an additional fee. Please call reservations for booking with extra stops.

*Extra stop fees vary and will be charged at Valley Transporters discretion.  * Extra Stop Fees do not apply to charter reservations. If an extra stop incurs additional miles, additional fees may apply. Minimum charge $10 per extra stop in the same town/city as booked. Minimum $25.00 per extra stop, out of the town/city booked.

Wait Fees Private Transport and Long Distance only

Wait Fees are incurred when the customer is unable to travel at the requested time and the vehicle’s operator must wait beyond a reasonable grace period of 60 minutes to provide service. Fees are intended for waits that are usually excessive and wait fees are charged at Valley Transporters discretion. $50.00 Hourly

The easiest way to make a reservation is to call our reservations office at 413-253-1350 x2 during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM ET. Saturday a& Sunday 9am-2 pm You can also make a reservation by filling out the downloadable form Request form and emailing the completed form to as soon as possible. We recommend making your reservations as soon as you know your travel needs, as availability is often limited and becomes more limited as the date of travel approaches

Customer Error

Customer is responsible for providing accurate information at time of booking. When he/she provides information for travel, the customer agrees that the information will be accurate. Valley Transporter is not responsible for mistakes made by customers while using the service, Confirmation emails are provided at the time of booking to allow customers to review details of their reservation in advance of the reservation. Without this number the reservation has NOT been confirmed. Please always be sure if you do not receive a confirmation email and receipt, please reach out via email

A reservation is NOT confirmed without payment. Once a reservation is confirmed you will receive a confirmation number and email.

Springfield Amtrak Services

 We service the Springfield Amtrak Station as part of our regularly scheduled service to or from Bradley International Airport. We only stop at the Amtrak Station for passengers with reservations.

 Click here to view typical Amtrak Rates to and from Amherst College, Smith College, Mt. Holyoke College, Hampshire College, UMass, Amherst, Northampton, South Hadley and other selected towns and cities of the Pioneer Valley region of Western Massachusetts.

  • Private   Service is available outside of our standard business hours. Rates vary depending upon number of passenger in your party 

       To Amtrak

  • Arrivals are hourly, beginning with the first arrival at approximately 5:30AM, and thereafter at approximately quarter to the hour throughout the day until our final arrival at 11:45 PM, provided we have advance reservations.


When reservations are made, you will get the opportunity to schedule your Courtesy text during the confirmation stage of the Reservation Process

We will gladly place a COURTESY text to remind you of your pickup 

  • Passengers must be ready for pick up 

       From Amtrak

  • When making reservations, we require all arriving train information as we track all incoming passenger’s trains by train number.


  • As we will usually be stopping a van which is departing Bradley International Airport, pickup times at Amtrak are approximate. . but normally occur between the hour and quarter past the hour.


  • Our final departure from Amtrak is at 1:00 AM to 1:15 AM, provided we have reservations.


  • If you miss your assigned pickup, we will provide space for you on our van leaving the following hour. Because we track your train we will know if you will be unable to make your assigned departure. Always call even if you think you have missed your shuttle.


  • If, during your travels, you are rerouted by Amtrak, resulting in an arrival on a train different than the train information we were given when the initial reservation was made, you must contact us at 413-253-1350 option 1 to advise us of the new arrival information. Without this information we may not be able to have a van at the station at the new arrival time.
