Charter Services

  • Charters can be booked on an hourly basis, and we can transport groups of any size.

     

  • A two hour minimum will be charged on all Charters.
    Advance Reservations are required.

    We have a smaller sized van that holds up to 3 passengers. The rate for the small van is $85.00 an hour with a two-hour minimum, this includes a 15% driver gratuity.

    Our large vans will hold to 10 passengers at a time.  The charter rate for one van is $100.00 per hour with a two-hour minimum per van. This rate already includes a 15% gratuity for the driver

    Times for charters start when our driver leaves our Amherst office (479 West Street), and end when the driver returns to the Amherst office.

    Some people book two vans making simultaneous or staggered runs.  Some people book just one van making continuous round-trips.  You can also set this up for two different time periods, one charter at the beginning of the day and one charter at the end of the day, with each charter having a 2-hour minimumTo secure your date, we will need a valid form of payment. The estimated fare will be charged 78 hours before the charter begins. There is a $100 nonrefundable deposit required, which will be applied to the reservations total cost. We suggest as much notice as possible when securing transportation, availability can be limited as desired transport dates approach

    The fare charged will be based on the quote given at the time of booking and Valley Transporter will charge the estimated quote 48 hours before the start of the charter. The charge gets adjusted as needed based on the actual driver time, when the charter has ended.  We will email you a final receipt within 48 hours after the end of the charter.

    Cancellation Policy

                For cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pick-up time:

    Fare is refunded MINUS the Non-Refundable Fee paid at the time of booking.

     

    CANCELLATIONS MADE LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME

    WILL BE CHARGED FULL ESTIMATED FARE

     

    . Customer Error

    Customer is responsible for providing accurate information at time of booking. When he/she provides information for travel, the customer agrees that the information will be accurate. Valley Transporter is not responsible for mistakes made by customers while using the service, its official websites, or mobile applications. Confirmation emails are provided at the time of booking to allow customers to review details of their reservation in advance of the reservation.

    If Traveling with Children, Who Are Legally Required by Massachusetts State Law to Have a Safety Seat, It Is the Responsibility of The Passenger to Abide by State Law and Have the Correct Safety Seat. Valley Transporter Does Not Provide Safety Seats for Children.

    Traveling Minors

    Customers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the ride. Operators may refuse service if a child is not old enough to ride alone and is without an adult or guardian

    Pets

    Pets are only permitted in Valley Transporter Private shuttle vehicles.

    • Service animals are permitted on vehicles. Excluding service animals, all pets must be properly secured within the carrier at all times. Additional pet restrictions may apply. Please be mindful of the vehicle size while booking rides with a service animal.

    * It Is Very Important to Inform Valley Transporter of The Service Animal at The Time of Booking*

    Unusual cleaning: In the event that the charter trips activities require greater than normal amount of time and material necessary to clean the vehicle properly upon its return to the garage, Valley Transporter, at its option, may require additional cost to cover such additional time and materials.

    Prohibited items: The following items and activities are prohibited without the written consent of Valley Transporter: (i.) Alcoholic Beverages; (ii.) Smoking; (iii.) Glass containers;

    As per Massachusetts law, open alcoholic beverages are not permitted in our vans

    Baggage: Valley Transporter assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any personal property. Baggage and all other personal property will be processed only at passengers’ own risk. Passengers’ baggage shall be carried subject to the available accommodations (as determined solely by Valley Transporter)

    Arrival time: The time of arrival at starting point, stop-over point, destination, or return to point of origin cannot be guaranteed. The Operators are pre-selected and have instructions to drive at all times in compliance to all governing laws. Unusual road, traffic and weather conditions are beyond the control of Valley Transporter and the Operator, and delays occasioned by the same will not be the responsibility of Valley Transporter or the Operator. Late arrivals due to these and other occurrences out of the control of the Operator are not grounds for cancellation of the charter.

    Seating: All passengers must be seated upright in a seat that has an allotted seat belt. Passenger counts many never exceed the allotted number of seat belts in the vehicle (10 for large Ford T350 vans; 3 for small Honda Odyssey minivans)

    You must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time in order to cancel without being charged the full amount.
